Trump Signs Defense Bill, Creates Space Force

U.S. President Donald Trump celebrated the launch of Space Force, the first new military service in more than 60 years, Friday, December 20. The law pledges $738 billion in funding for the military for 2020. Space Force is not designed or intended to put combat troops in space.
